NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (August 21, 2026) – Country music artist-to-watch Slater Nalley released his debut EP, Hey Georgia, today via Warner Records Nashville/Warner Records (LISTEN HERE) alongside the “Stopped Loving You” Official Music Video (WATCH HERE).

The 19-year-old singer songwriter, whom The Bluegrass Situation praised for how you can “sense every ounce of the raw emotion he channels,” brings striking authenticity and soulful vocals to Hey Georgia. The debut EP is both an homage to Nalley’s roots and a heartfelt introduction to his distinct storytelling and unmistakable voice.

Nalley’s string of single releases ahead of the EP, including the titular “Hey Georgia” and the acclaimed “All Over Again,” established him as a rising vocal powerhouse in the genre. Released with the EP, the “Stopped Loving You” Official Music Video provides a visual companion to Hey Georgia, capturing the authenticity and emotional depth that define the project. Directed by Ben Humphrey, the music video channels the timeless visual language of classic live performance films and showcases the electricity of the song with an unfiltered, full-throttle performance. With his debut EP out now, Nalley continues to build on the momentum that has made him one of country music’s most promising young voices.

Nalley can’t remember a time when he didn’t naturally gravitate towards music. In middle school, he opted for participating in musicals over sports—something that often made him feel like an outcast among his peers who’d question his nonconforming interests. Armored with a gravelly and soulful twang, Slater focused on his natural talent despite it all, teaching himself to play piano by ear and learning guitar chords on YouTube by age 14. 

After a series of original songs caught the attention of millions via social media, Nalley began really honing his craft, eventually using his talents to help others. When his high school English teacher experienced the tragic loss of her son, Nalley was inspired to write “Traces of You,” which helped both his teacher and members of the community heal. 

Motivated to share music that can move the masses, his performance of the song during his audition for American Idol secured his Top 5 placement in the competition. Nalley’s time on the show featured a host of memorable moments, including a standout performance alongside country music stars Carrie Underwood and Cody Johnson for a vocally-stunning version of their #1 duet “I’m Gonna Love You.”

Now entering a new chapter with Hey Georgia, Slater Nalley shows no signs of slowing down as he continues to carve out his place in country music.
