NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (June 12, 2026) – Rising vocal powerhouse Slater Nalley released the soulful “These Please” today via Warner Records Nashville/19 Entertainment (LISTEN HERE). 

The track captures the feeling in the immediate aftermath of a breakup, pairing weighty lyrics with a rolling melody. Nalley’s writing is intentionally conversational, giving the song a more intimate tone as the narrator turns to the bottle for answers in true Southern fashion.

"I’m very proud of this record. This song is for anyone who loves a good two-step on the dance floor. That’s exactly why I wrote it—to bring people together and help you enjoy the moment. I hope you love it."

The 19-year-old Atlanta native is touring across the country through the end of November. Upcoming stops include Bowery Ballroom, Exit/In, and a hometown show at Terminal West with select dates performing alongside Blake Whiten and Willow Avalon.

Nalley can’t remember a time when he didn’t naturally gravitate towards music. In middle school, he opted for participating in musicals over sports—something that often made him feel like an outcast among his peers who’d question his nonconforming interests. Armored with a gravelly and soulful twang, Slater focused on his natural talent despite it all, teaching himself to play piano by ear and learning guitar chords on YouTube by age 14. 

After a series of original songs caught the attention of millions via social media, Nalley began really honing his craft, eventually using his talents to help others. When his high school English teacher experienced the tragic loss of her son, Nalley was inspired to write “Traces of You,” which helped both his teacher and members of the community heal. 

Motivated to share music that can move the masses, his performance of the song during his audition for American Idol secured his Top 5 placement in the competition. Nalley’s time on the show featured a host of memorable moments, including a standout performance alongside country music stars Carrie Underwood and Cody Johnson for a vocally-stunning version of their #1 duet “I’m Gonna Love You.”

Now signed to Warner Records Nashville in partnership with 19 Entertainment (a division of Sony Pictures Television), Slater Nalley is primed to introduce more of his original music to the world in the coming months.
