NASHVILLE, TN – September 25, 2026 – Today, River House Artists / Warner Records Nashville’s Texas country breakout Hudson Westbrook gives another taste of his highly anticipated sophomore album Made You Look with the release of new song “One Night Wonder,” out today – listen HERE.
Penned by Westbrook, Lukas Scott, and Beau Bailey, “One Night Wonder” is a singular, wistful memory. Westbrook’s hazy, love-drunk tenor croons:
Were we just a one night wonder
Were we just make-believe
Were you just blowin’ smoke
Talkin’ ‘bout down the road
Were you just drunk just sayin’ things
Left me with a kiss like thunder
Baby, for your sweet love I’m a fiend
If we’re just a one-night wonder
I’m hopin’ one night
Yeah, maybe one night
You’ll wander on back to me
“One Night Wonder” follows additional early previews “The Joker,” “Hits Me,” “Backwards,”“Hey Dallas, ” and album title track, “Made You Look.”
Set for release November 6, Made You Look expands upon the Texas country that has become Westbrook’s signature. The 16-song collection is a snapshot of Westbrook’s whirlwind rise over the last two years.
“Helping pull Texan artistic independence into the mainstream” (The Bluegrass Situation), “he’s crafted a sound that blends modern country storytelling with the timeless soul of Texas tradition” (Atwood Magazine). With the sophomore set, Westbrook continues to prove “that song by song and word by word, he knows how to capture his audience” (Country Central).

ABOUT HUDSON WESTBROOK
Hudson Westbrook “is on the cusp of bona fide country music stardom” (Rolling Stone). A son of Stephenville, Texas, Westbrook was baptized by Red Dirt and raised on George Strait, Turnpike Troubadours, Parker McCollum, Koe Wetzel, and Tracy Lawrence. After a 2024 splash debut with first-ever release, “Take It Slow,” Westbrook strung together a series of grassroots hits while still enrolled at Texas Tech University, including Texas radio chart-topper, “Two Way Drive,” and chart-topping debut single to country radio, “House Again.” Revitalizing the organic country he was raised on while refusing to be held down by his roots, Westbrook’s “traditional country sounds and timeless songwriting” (Billboard) have become his calling card, fully realized on his Top 10, 17-track debut album, Texas Forever, and expanded upon on follow up EP, Exclusive, out now.
Taking the spirit of Texas country music far beyond state lines, Westbrook is headlining sold-out tours nationwide, alongside opening gigs with George Strait, Parker McCollum, Morgan Wallen, Bailey Zimmerman, Midland, Ian Munsick, and many more. Amassing over 1.7 billion global streams in just under two years of releasing original music, Westbrook is a 2026 ACM New Male Artist of the Year nominee and a member of the 2026 Opry NextStage Class. He was named a Billboard Country Rookie of the Month, a 2025 Artist to Watch by Spotify, Country Now, Holler, The Country Wire, and a SiriusXM all-genre Five for 2025. Country Central predicts: "Westbrook’s rise shows potential to lead a new generation of artists in the Texas country realm."
