NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Georgia native Gavin Adcock has been steadily releasing songs for eight weeks leading into the release of his third studio album, The Day I Hang It Up, due Oct. 2. Now, with just one week remaining until the album is here, the man American Songwriter called “a modern-day outlaw” is releasing his final taste of the project today. Listen to “Bad Off” now, HERE.

Written by Adcock, Jack Rauton, Joybeth Taylor and Colton Venner, “Bad Off” depicts the downward spiral following a breakup, and the bad decisions that go along with it.

Life was going my way, now I’m seein’ sideways

And every move I make is wrong

Livin’ out a Waylon song

Guess I’m doin’ one thing right

Yeah I’m Bad Off, up to no good tonight

Adcock recently invited fans to vote on which city they wanted to see host his album release shows. The overwhelming response led the singer to choose two cities: Studio at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, TX on Oct. 5 and The Eastern in Atlanta, GA on Oct. 8. To celebrate the title of the 18th track on the album, “18,” tickets cost just $18 and can be purchased HERE for Dallas and HERE for Atlanta, respectively.

With Music Row Magazine celebrating his “rowdy, high-octane performance,” it’s a reputation he’s bringing to fans across the country on his 30-city The Day I Hang It Up Tour. The trek features a rotating lineup of special guests, including Pecos & The Rooftops, Corey Kent, Tyler Nance, Jake Worthington, The Creekers, Braxton Keith and Mack Geiger.

A proven must-see live performer, Adcock has sold out venues coast to coast across multiple headline tours, including the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Gavin Adcock, Actin’ Up Again (Again) Tour and Need To Tour. Most recently, he joined Morgan Wallen for select dates on both legs of Wallen’s 2025 and 2026 tours, earning explosive responses from audiences nationwide.

About Gavin Adcock:

Gavin Adcock, dubbed by Billboard as "one of country music’s most buzzed-about artists” is a Georgia native, born and raised in Watkinsville. Former Georgia Southern University football player, Gavin grew up working on his family’s cattle farm and dreamt of riding bulls in the PBR. He started writing songs in high school, but it wasn’t until the spring of 2021, when Adcock tore his knee playing football, that he used his healing time to record and release his first original single. Since then, Gavin has collectively amassed more than 2 BILLION global streams across singles including the fan-favorite, RIAA PLATINUM-certified, “A Cigarette,” GOLD-certified songs “Run Your Mouth,” “Deep End,” “Four Leaf Clover” and more. His album, Actin’ Up Again, was crowned the largest major-label country debut from a solo male artist released in 2024 and was the year’s top streaming major-label debut across the genre. Within less than a year, Adcock more than doubled his previous streaming record with over 25 MILLION first week US streams on new album Own Worst Enemy, released August 15, 2025. Own Worst Enemy debuted as the top new Country album on the Billboard 200 Country Chart (No. 4) and top streaming new album on the Billboard 200 All-Genre Chart (No. 14) week of release. In the Spring of 2026 Gavin was able to add Executive Producer to his achievements, with the release of Adcock’s brainchild, Country Never Dies, enlisting the help of nine artist peers to join him on the special, timeless, project. The MusicRow Awards’ “Discovery Artist of the Year” nominee has also won over the hearts of both Country music fans and music industry alike, leading to his New Artist of the Year nominations at both the 60th & 61st ACM Awards. Taking his music to the fans, Adcock is currently underway on The Day I Hang It Up Tour 2026, marking the fourth extensive headlining tour since 2024.
