NASHVILLE, TN (September 18, 2026) – Warner Records Nashville’s rising band The Creekers announced their highly anticipated sophomore album, Follow The Sound, available everywhere on October 30 (PRE-ORDER/SAVE HERE).

The 12-track album is both expansive and intimate, blending rich storytelling with the Appalachian country-bluegrass feel that The Creekers are known for. A defining step into a new chapter, Follow The Sound captures the band’s sharpest songwriting to date.

Accompanying the announcement today, The Creekers released their first track off the album, “Better Way,” out now (LISTEN HERE).

“Better Way” captures the grind of life on the road while reminding listeners that even when the work gets hard, there’s something worth holding onto in the dream you’re chasing. Equally vulnerable and inspiring, the song confronts the balance between wondering if there’s an easier way and feeling blessed to make a living doing what you love, trusting that it will pay off:

And I’ll keep my head held high

Never tell my dreams goodbye

Time to spread these wings and fly

I’ve made up my mind

With “Better Way,” The Creekers deliver music that is as immersive as it is raw and unfiltered, laying a powerful foundation for what is to come.

Praised for their “honest storytelling, exceptional players, and songs that leave a lasting impression” (All Country News), The Creekers bring that same unvarnished authenticity to their live performances. The band is on the road this fall for select dates supporting Gavin Adcock’s The Day I Hang It Up Tour and Turnpike Troubadours’ Wild America Tour. Get tickets HERE.

With more new music on the way, The Creekers’ momentum continues to build as they gear up to introduce Follow The Sound to audiences everywhere.

ABOUT THE CREEKERS

Creeping out of the hollers and hideouts of eastern Kentucky, come The Creekers with a sound as crisp as the mountain morning air, and a rhythm as steady as a front porch rocking chair. The Creekers summed up in one word: genuine. The Creekers are a lively, six-piece, band that blends authentic bluegrass music with country and pop influences. Generational roots run deep in Leslie County, Kentucky, where The Creekers formed over a shared love for the timeless sounds of traditional American music….. “Hillbilly music.” In fact, The Creekers name is inspired by the small creeks and hollers of home, reflecting their commitment to music that’s authentic, unpolished, and deeply rooted in the land and culture of their upbringing. The band released their first album, Pour Me In The Creek, in 2024. As the prolific bug bit ‘em, the band churned out their next project with the introspective EP, River Rat. Turns out, they had more loyal fans than they’d bargained for because their song “Tennessee” shot to top 5 of Spotify’s Viral 50-USA chart and parked there for multiple weeks in the summer of 2025. Such noise was bound to be heard, and the folks in Nashville took notice. The Creekers signed a record deal with Warner Records Nashville/Warner Records in the spring of 2026, and will release their new album, Follow The Sound, on October 30, 2026. Over the past couple years, The Creekers have played bars, small rooms, and festivals, including a SOLD OUT four-night residency at the iconic music venue, The Station Inn, in Nashville, Tennessee. As a result, the band has built a loyal fan base, and earned a reputation for fun, energetic, live shows filled with fiery instrumentals, raw emotion, and a genuine connection to their audience. The Creekers are taking their explosive live show to the multitudes throughout 2026 via their own headline dates from April to November, and opening slots for both the Turnpike Troubadours and Gavin Adcock. The Creekers are Tanner Horton (vocals, lead guitar), Allen Hacker (vocals, rhythm guitar), Jagger Bowling (bass, vocals), Ashton Bowling (cajon), Scott Sutton (banjo, vocals), and Anna Blanton (fiddle), the only non-Kentucky native, but the rest of the group laughingly forgives her.
