NASHVILLE, TN (April 9, 2026)– Breakout “vocal powerhouse” (PEOPLE Magazine) Avery Anna has received her first-ever Academy of Country Music Award nomination today, earning a nod for New Female Artist of the Year. The 61st ACM Awards will stream live exclusively on Prime Video on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The nomination follows a powerful sequence of high-profile performances, including a standout set at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday night (4/8). Avery joined an all-star lineup that included Janelle Monae, Dominic Fike, T Pain, and The Killers for the inaugural Freely Fest celebrating the First Amendment right to free speech.
Avery is currently continuing her headlining Girl Of Constant Sorrow Tour across the country and is slated for a performance on the Mane Stage at Stagecoach in Indio, CA, on April 24.
