NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (August 18, 2025) Country music firebrand Gavin Adcock has kicked off a momentous new chapter with the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album, Own Worst Enemy, available now via Thrivin' Here Records/Warner Music Nashville.

The new album, which dropped on August 15, arrives just one year after his groundbreaking debut, Actin' Up Again, and is a testament to the Adcock’s relentless work ethic and candid storytelling, capturing the journey he has been on over the past year. Just as Own Worst Enemy made its way into the world, Adcock released TWO new music videos the same day; “Last One To Know” and “Morning Bail.” Both videos were directed by Ben Humphrey and filmed near Nashville, Tennessee.

To round out album release weekend, Adcock stepped out on the stage again with Morgan Wallen in Cleveland, Ohio, on both Friday and Saturday nights on Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour. As Own Worst Enemy album release week continues, Adcock shows no signs of slowing down as he sets his sights on his own headlining Need To Tour, which picks back up this Thursday 8/21 in Wichita, Kansas.

The release of Own Worst Enemy adds another milestone to a career filled with major accomplishments. In the past year, Adcock has surpassed one billion global streams and received multiple RIAA certifications, including platinum status for his breakout song, "A Cigarette." Adcock was also recently nominated for "New Male Artist of the Year" at the 60th ACM Awards and "Discovery Artist of the Year" for the 37th Annual MusicRow Awards.

ABOUT GAVIN ADCOCK

Gavin Adcock is a Georgia native born and raised in Watkinsville. Former Georgia Southern University football player, Gavin grew up working on his family cattle farm and dreamed of riding bulls in the PBR. He started writing songs in high school, but it wasn’t until the spring of 2021, when Adcock tore his knee playing football, that he used his healing time to record and release his first original single.  Since then, Gavin has released multiple singles, collectively amassing over 1 billion global streams including the fan-favorite, RIAA PLATINUM-certified, “A Cigarette,” GOLD-certified songs “Run Your Mouth,” “Deep End,” and “Four Leaf Clover,” along with his major label debut album, Actin’ Up Again, which was crowned the largest major-label country debut from a solo male artist released in 2024. With more than 15 million on-demand U.S. streams week of release, Actin’ Up Again was also 2024’s top streaming major-label debut across the whole genre. One year after his thunderous album Actin’ Up Again released worldwide, Adcock released his new album, Own Worst Enemy, on August 15, 2025. Throughout the meteoric year from Actin’ Up Again (2024) to Own Worst Enemy (2025), the Georgia native has won over the hearts of both Country music fans and the Country music industry alike. Adcock received his first industry voted award nomination for New Male Artist of the Year for the 60th ACM Awards, in addition to being nominated for MusicRow Magazine’s “DISCOVERY ARTIST OF THE YEAR” award for the 37th Annual MusicRow Awards. Taking his music to the fans, Adcock has sold out music venues from coast-to-coast via multiple headline tours such as the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Gavin Adcock, his Actin’ Up Again (Again) Tour, and at present his Need To Tour, which kicked off in May 2025. Adcock also joins superstar Morgan Wallen for select dates on Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour, as well as a plethora of new headline dates and major festival appearances being added throughout the rest of 2025.
